New Delhi: In a shocking incident and lady was killed after she was gangraped by her husband in his friends in nearby Greater Noida. The incident took place on Saturday night and the accused after killing her buried the body in a graveyard at Dadri in Greater Noida. The husband, Chand Mohammad, was arrested Tuesday evening, after the SDM ordered that the deceased’s body be exhumed and sent for post-mortem after strong protest by the victim’s kin and neighbours. The police had initially refused to lodge an FIR saying it was case of natural death. The victim, 34-year-old Afroz, was staying with her husband Chand along with their three children at Nai Awadhi Colony in Dadri. Tweets & news from Delhi The couple got married five years ago, and Chand started to torture Afroz soon after their marriage, said the victim’s uncle Rasul. Rasul also said that Chand had developed and extra-marital affair and he used to beat up Afroz whenever she protested. Things became worse when Rasul’s told Chand that they cannot accept his demands any more. Dadri Police officials said that Chand returned home on Saturday night allegedly in a drunken state along with at least two other friends. They all beat up afroz and then raped her one by one.  Her husband strangled her to death. Chand’s two aides are still on the run.
