Congress will cry over Bill later: Lalu

New Delhi: Rastriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav on Thursday said the Congress will shed tears over the Women's Bill later.
RJD, Mulayam Singh Yadav's Samajwadi Party (SP) and BSP are opposing the Women's Bill in its current form.

While speaking at the Lok Sabha during the discussion on the Women's Bill, Prasad, in his trademark style, said, "They are eating onion for the first time. They will cry later."
"We must give rights to Muslim women, rural women and Dalits. The Bill ignores Dalit women," he said, adding that an all party meeting on the isue is required.
Lalu also thanked Trinamool chief and railway minister Mamata Banerjee for not her stand on the Bill.

"Many Congress, BJP MPs are unhappy with the Bill," he added.
Sharad Yadav also pressed for an all party meet on the issue.
