Hyderabad, Nov. 13: The Karnataka Tourism Minister and owner of Obulapuram Mining Corporation, Mr Gali Janardhan Reddy, said on Friday that he was ready to face a CBI inquiry into the allegations of illegal mining operations and would quit politics and even the mining business if found guilty.
He also hit out at the Telugu Desam president, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, who leveled the allegations, and termed him a “mean-minded and mentally unsound liar.”
Mr Reddy air-dashed here on Friday morning and addressed mediapersons in the afternoon while Mr Naidu was holding an all-party meet on OMC’s alleged illegal mining operations.
Flatly denying any illegal operations, Mr Reddy said he was prepared to take the entire media to the area.
“If you (Mr Naidu) are bold prove the charges levelled against me and I will quit politics and business if proved guilty,” he said.
